BR1-15: Scarecrows

The magic took them to a field. The scarecrow came to life. "I'm alive!" called Fred.

Scarecrows is a book Oxford Reading Tree series. It is a stage 5 in the story. Biff and Chip had a little garden. They planted seeds and they put in plants, but the birds ate the seeds and pecked the plants. So they had an idea. The idea is to make a scarecrows. They got some old clothes and made the scarecrow's body.Chip wanted the scarecrow to be a boy. He called it Fred. But Biff wanted it to be a girl. Suddenly, the key began to glow. The magic took them to field. The scarecrow came to life. There were some scarecrows in the lane.They going to the bane dance. Biff and Chip couldn't go to the dance, because they weren't scarecrows. However, Frad made Biff and Chip into scarecrows. They all danced with the scarecrows. Biff saw some girl scarecrows. Suddenly, the key ended. They went back home. And they set up a bay and a girl scarecrows. I thought that there are only all boy scarecrows, too. But I felt that Biff's idea is very nice.
