BR 2-34: Stories of Giants

But, one year, Jon's father felt too old for the trip. "You'll have to go alone," he said to Jon. "Just remember one thing," he warned. "Don't stop at the big, black rock. that's where the trolls live."

Today, I read the book "Jon and the green troll" of "Stories of  Giants." The story is chapter 2 and it is series one of Usborne Young Reading series. Once, there was a poor farmer who lived with his only son, Jon by the mountains in Scotland. Jon went down to the sea, to fish. By the way he sat down outside a cave because a storm blew up and it was thundering. Suddenly, a troll appeared in front of him and picked him up. Then she gave him magic fishing hooks. He found Charlie in an old hut by the beach and started to fish together. Their boat was full of fish. He gave the fish the troll. When he visited the cave, he got piles of treasure and gold for her. They were so rich, they never had to work again.
